Since 1986, Dr. Bayoumi has been spearheading the iCS and VLSI lab working on novel designs and methodologies for Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Reconfigurable Hardware, Security, and Networking.
Over 100 PhD and 150 Masters students have been a part of our lab contributing in high end research who are now working in companies and institutions worldwide. Our lab has been funded by the National Science Foundation(NSF), Department of Energy and the State of Louisiana for the ground breaking research that is conducted here.
